Emeritus Professor Gunnar Knapp presents at American Fisheries Society

ISER’s former director, Gunnar Knapp, Professor Emeritus of Economics, gave a presentation on “Long-Term Trends in the Pacific Salmon Industry” at the Annual Meeting of the American Fisheries Society in Reno, Nevada on October 1st, 2019.  Knapp was an invited speaker at a symposium on “The Science of Pacific Salmon Conservation: Foundations, Myths, and Emerging Insights.”

Short-Run Economic Impacts of Alaska Fiscal Options

The final report, Short-Run Economic Impacts of Alaska Fiscal Options, by Gunnar Knapp, Matthew Berman, and Mouhcine Guettabi, is now available for downloading. It replaces all earlier versions. Also available is a presentation by Gunnar Knapp, for the Alaska Senate Finance Committee on March 30, 2016, discussing the Alaska economy as well as the report findings.
