Alexandra Hill became associate director for finance and administration in May 2015. As the job title implies, her work is overseeing ISER’s financial and administrative functions, which are many and varied. At any given time, ISER has roughly 40 to 60 grants and contracts, and Alexandra Hill helps researchers manage those grants, write proposals for new grants, and solve problems. She also supervises the administrative support staff, to ensure that faculty and other researchers have what they need to keep ISER running smoothly.
Before taking her current job, she was a researcher at ISER for 26 years, and she still spends a part of her time helping ISER researchers resolve questions about quantitative analysis and data management.
