Promoting Healthy Behavior & Wellness
Three behaviors (diet, physical activity and tobacco) are responsible for four of the most costly and pervasive chronic diseases (cancer, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, lung disease), which in turn contribute to over 50% of deaths in the U.S. CBHRS studies the effectiveness of evidence-based policies, practices and programs that promote healthy behaviors and can be delivered through a wide variety of organizations.
