Cancer Education
Cancer is the leading cause of death in Alaska and has disproportionate impacts among Alaska Native people. However, most cancers are preventable, which is an opportunity for effective health promotion to reduce cancer risk and mitigate cancer disparities. CBHRS engages with a range of stakeholders to develop and pilot culturally relevant cancer education.
