ISER Director Diane Hirshberg was the guest speaker at the Anchorage Unitarian Universalist Fellowship Forum on Sunday Nov. 5. Her talk, titled “From Sheldon Jackson to the Fight for Tribal Schools: The Unfinished History of Colonization’s Impact on Alaska’s Schools and Students” covers her learnings from over 20 years of research into education in Alaska.
