Celebrate the second annual UA Giving Day starting on November 9, 2021, when the 49 hours for Alaska campaign begins.
During that period, you can support the ISER Excellence Fund, which impacts ISER research and initiatives. Gifts of all sizes add up to help continue the work ISER has been doing in Alaska for 60 years.
Special Giving Day challenge
Marcia Trudgen, former ISER Associate Director and UAA staff alumna, is challenging friends, alumni, and colleagues to make a gift on Giving Day 2021. When 10 people give to ISER Excellence, her $5,000 gift will unlock to support the ISER Excellence Fund.
To specify the ISER Excellence Fund in your gift, visit the College of Business and Public Policy giving page and choose “ISER Excellence” at the bottom of the “Fund Designation” dropdown.
When you make a gift, help encourage others in your social media following to join in by posting and using #49hoursforAlaska.
Thank you for supporting ISER’s work during Giving Day 2021!
Note: The image composite above includes an image from a woodcut by Ronald Senungetuk (1933-2020). He created it for ISER in 1975, and ISER’s current logo is based on it. Senungetuk was an internationally known Alaska Native artist originally from the community of Wales in northwest Alaska. The logo woodcut and several other woodcuts he created for ISER are on display at ISER’s offices in Anchorage.
